A Night Out with Hipstamatic

A Night Out with Hipstamatic | A Design Lifestyle - Jacqueline Palmer 9

A few weeks ago, I went out to dinner with my great friend and mentor, and he showed me an app that I was embarrassed not to have already known about. I’m sure you know about Hipstamatic, the world-class photography app and Apple’s original App of the Year, but I just discovered it and am obsessed with its unique features! After a few delicious tropical drinks at Pagan Idol and before our late night dinner at my favorite SF restaurant, Liholiho Yacht Club, we took to the streets of the Financial District in San Francisco and took a few shots! I fell in love with how the photos turned out using one of the lenses, and I was impressed at how easy it was to use and take beautiful photographs! The app has an array of unique lenses to choose from to create unusual visual effects. You can even switch between lenses after you’ve taken the photo. Like all great photography apps, you can edit your photo with the full capabilities of a traditional dark room. After you’ve created your masterpiece, sharing with your friends on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr is a breeze. Check out our masterpieces below and get the app here!
